Recently, Daly Andersson was recognized and celebrated by The Lisa Rector Team, a team who understands the importance of women in the workforce, especially working mothers. As we celebrate Women’s History Month, it’s important to remember the incredible strides that women have made in the workplace. We have shattered glass ceilings and broken down barriers to create opportunities for ourselves and for future generations.

And while there is still much work to be done, we must pause to celebrate our achievements. Working mothers play a vital role in our society. They are the backbone of many families and are often juggling multiple responsibilities, from childcare to work to household duties. It’s no easy feat, but it’s incredibly rewarding to be able to provide for your family and pursue your career goals at the same time.

Of course, finding a work-life balance is a challenge for many working mothers. We want to excel in our careers while also being present for our families. It’s a delicate balance, but with the right support and resources, it can be achieved. As we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month, let’s remember the incredible women who have paved the way for us and let’s continue to strive for progress and equality. Together, we can create a world where working mothers can thrive and achieve their dreams. Thank you, Lisa Rector and team, for your support and for recognizing the hard work of working mothers everywhere.

Below is more from Daly’s interview with The Lisa Rector Team:

We asked Daly about her position with Tenet Wealth Partners and what services she offers:

“I am co-owner and Managing Partner at Tenet Wealth Partners in Champaign, IL. We are a high-touch financial planning and investment management firm working with families who want to build their finances to support the life they love. Modern life means that we are often stuck juggling between many different financial priorities at once. Between the day-to-day decisions about how much to spend on groceries (thanks inflation!) to deciding how to save for retirement or college; we are inundated every day with these financial decisions. I think that we all do our best to make the right choices, but sometimes we need a partner who can help us truly optimize our situation. This is where we come in. Tenet Wealth Partners was founded in 2021 by my partners Kyle Wetters and Kevan Melchiorre. We offer comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to families and businesses.”

Why is it important to you to be an empowering female leader in our community?

“I aspire to be more and to give more because of the amazing women in this community that I have had the privilege to know. For me, leadership means showing up authentically and embracing my own vulnerability. When we see women who are leaders in their community, we don’t always see the undercurrent of challenges they have overcome. We see women who are successful and maybe even imagine that they have everything ‘figured out’. But the reality is that everyone has their insecurities, their stories, their unfinished lessons, and quiet goals. We are all just in different stages of becoming who we want to be. I have benefited over my career from women friends and leaders who have been honest and vulnerable with me – who have shared their experiences and normalized the struggle. I am passionate about helping women achieve financial confidence because I believe it is the single greatest (physical) tool in building the life that you want. And I think a big part of empowering others is through showing the imperfect and the vulnerable. Money isn’t something we were born understanding, and nobody has it all figured out perfectly. The biggest risk to our financial future is waiting until we have everything perfect to start.”

How can we encourage others to support you and your business?

“We welcome you to follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook, and sign up for our monthly newsletter at TenetWealthPartners.com. We share timely information about investing, retirement, saving for college, tax planning, and many other topics around personal finances. If you or a loved one are looking for a trusted partner to plan your finances around your life and values, don’t hesitate to reach out to us to see if we might be a good fit.” 🫶 What other organizations are you a part of in our community? “My husband, Magnus, and I are always busy chasing around our three energetic kids – Eric 8, Alice 4, and Clara 2. In my spare time, I volunteer in the Champaign Public Schools for the iRead, iCount Program. I am also a volunteer soccer coach with Champaign Park District. Tenet Wealth Partners is proud to be United Way’s Women United sponsor for 2022-2023. I enjoy giving back professionally by providing educational presentations to local groups like United Way, Champaign Public Library, and recently CRIS Healthy Aging. I also teach and helped create a new class at the University of Illinois’ Financial Planning Program called Women, Money, and Power. We help educate students about how to advocate for themselves financially throughout their life stages – from college to career and through retirement.”

For fun: What is the most unique or random thing we’d find in your purse?

“My pink bullet journal and several “Flair” pens! I have tried all the snazzy electronic scheduling apps, but I have just come to accept that I love the way a pen feels on paper.”
